Frozen Shoulder

The management of frozen shoulder remains controversial.  Many different therapeutic approaches have been advocated and no single method of treatment has been shown to have a clearly superior outcome.

This article discusses a method which provides for the treatment of shoulder pain and stiffness by allowing patients to exercise with less pain earlier in the rehabilitation process.

The method comprises a unique approach utilizing the following four components simultaneously from the onset of treatment: isometric muscle contraction (IMC); dynamic oscillatory stretching (DOS) and/or passive accessory mobilization and mindfulness.
