This comprehensive 2-day course provides clinicians with intensive tuition in an integrated evidence-based approach to orthopaedic manual therapy of the peripheral joints.
Primary aim
The primary aim of the programme is to provide a more functional and comprehensive approach to the management of a range of neuromusculoskeletal conditions affecting the peripheral joints. This is a unique opportunity to be educated and closely supervised by respected clinical educator Vaidas Stalioraitis.
The syllabus
The syllabus covers the following peripheral body areas: hip, knee, and shoulder complex. This syllabus integrates a range of manual therapy concepts developed by internationally renowned manual therapist’s Dr Toby Hall and Kim Robinson.
At the completion of the two-day course the participants will:
Be conversant with current evidence and clinical reasoning processes with respect to management of a range of peripheral disorders.
Be conversant in clinically relevant developments in anatomy, biomechanics, pathophysiology & pathoanatomy pertinent to peripheral disorders.
Be proficient in applying peripheral joints examination procedures.
Be able to formulate the most appropriate & effective management programme for the condition.
Be proficient in applying an appropriate treatment strategy incorporating manual therapy treatment techniques, taping & rehabilitation programmes.
