Debbie Creamer

Debbie graduated from Wits University (South Africa) in 1992 with BSc Physiotherapy (Hons).

Developing an early interest in musculoskeletal and sports injuries by working in private practice at home and abroad, she completed a Masters degree in musculoskeletal physiotherapy at the University of Queensland, Brisbane in 2000 and then Pilates training in 2001.

She has presented at various conferences including IFOMT in Cape Town in 2004 (effects of patellofemoral taping in knee osteoarthritis),  International Congresses (CIRNE) in Vitoria (2008) and Minas Gerais in Brazil (2011), as well as the 2012 and 2014 Sports Congresses in South Africa (Presenting Motor Control and Pilates in Sport, and Real-time Ultrasound Imaging in Physiotherapy.) 

Having a particular interest in the positive impact of therapeutic exercise on the recovery of musculoskeletal injuries,  she developed and runs accredited motor control and Pilates courses (" Modern Clinical Pilates") internationally.
