(CANCELLED) Rehabilitation of Patellar Instability - Evening Workshop

Course description

Recurrent lateral patellar dislocations are painful ordeals with a profound impact on patients' lives. The disorder is associated with a substantial reduction in knee function, persistent pain, kinesiophobia, activity limitations and diminished health-related quality-of-life. Moreover, recurrent dislocations frequently result in early osteoarthritic changes in the patellofemoral joint, leaving patients dealing with both knee instability and pain.

This workshop will include a practical session demonstrating the rehabilitation of a patient following first-time dislocation and/or surgical intervention, starting from early stages to full return to sport rehab.

A useful patellar taping to prevent recurrence will be demonstrated.
